2021 Academic Calendar / KG, Primary, JHS And SHS / 2020-2021 update

 The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released a new academic calendar for 2020/21 Second Cycle (Senior High School) institutions.

The release of the calendar comes on the back of President Akufo-Addo’s announcement of the reopening of schools for academic work to continue in his 21st Covid-19 update address to the nation on Sunday.

Below are the academic calendar for SHS, JHS, and KG/Primary

The Ministry of Education also indicated the proposed dates for the 2021 West

African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and 2021 Basic

Education Certificate Examination (BECE)

It further indicated a proposed 3-year WASSCE and BECE exams plan to help

bring the exams calendar back to normal following the disruption caused by

coVID-19.
